Ficus Lyrata (Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree/Bush) - Two Sizes Available
One of the most iconic houseplants of all time, the Ficus lyrata is commonly called the Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree/Bush and can come in a bushy, single column or in multi-columns that produce leaves just at the top, although purportedly you can branch the single column with a few different techniques. Both are very picky about their environment, particularly their location. The most important thing is to keep trying different locations in your home until it's happy. Once established, Ficus lyrata will produce beautiful fiddle-shaped leaves and grow ever taller for years.
Toxicity: Toxic. Wash hands after pruning.
Light Conditions: Ficus lyrata thrive on bright, indirect light, but be careful not to let direct light tough their leaves, in order to avoid sunburn.
Humidity: High
Watering: Water when the top 1/2-1 inch of soil is dry, over the sink until droplets come out of the bottom holes of the pot.
Soil: Organic indoor potting mix
Repotting: Repot every 1-2 years, as the plant becomes rootbound
