Silver Satin Scindapsus (Pothos) - Two Sizes Available
The Silver Satin Scindapsus is a beautifully vining plant with thick, heart-shaped leaves that have silver patterns on top of deep emerald green. The more bright, indirect light these Scindapsus receive, the more pronounced their silver patterns become. A great beginner's plant, the Silver Satin Scindapsus only needs to be watered when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. As long as this plant is not overwatered and in a bright spot, it will naturally resist pests and produce lovely foliage!
Toxicity: Toxic
Light Conditions: As much bright, indirect light you can give Silver Satin Scindapsus is best. In lower-light conditions, the silver patterns will wain.
Humidity: Moderate, but Silver Satin Scindapsus does not want to sit in moisture or - worse - standing water in its tray. Normal indoor humidity is typically fine.
Watering: Water gently, only when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, over the sink and let the pot sit on the edge to drain and dry slightly before placing back into its tray. Ensure no moisture sits under the pot.
Soil: Well draining soil with coco coir and mulch chips mixed in is best for Silver Satin Scindapsus.
Repotting: Repot every couple of years, when you see roots starting to poke out of the bottom hole of the pot.
